Depending on the chosen connection type, it can grant up to 200hrs on a single charge. It actually allows for longer play times than its larger counterparts. The company didn’t want to skimp on other aspects though. Again, SteelSeries wanted the Aerox 3 to be light to help facilitate quick movements during play. As one of the lightest mice I’ve ever played with, the Aerox 3 practically glides over mouse pads. This, in turn, allows for a smaller battery that (when combined with the thin, honeycombed, close fitting frame) has the Aerox 3 weighing just 66 grams. The TrueMove Air optical sensor helps by not being power hungry. To achieve this, SteelSeries had to improve on/create new components. The Aerox 3 was designed to be an ultra-lightweight gaming mouse.

Players can toggle between the Aerox 3’s Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connections, the latter of which uses an accompanied USB Type-C Wireless Dongle and Extension Adaptor.

Above the TrueMove sensor is the wireless mode switch. Not only does it address latency issues by providing true 1-to-1 tracking, it also allows for super quick movements thanks to a ridiculously high CPI. Flipped over, the Aerox 3 offers the TrueMove Air – a new optical sensor that was built specifically for wireless gaming. The normal left and right mouse buttons, scroll wheel, CPI (Count Per Inch) and side buttons round out this side of things. That said, its stylish pattering shouldn’t lead to concern given its IP54 rating – the Aerox 3 uses AquaBarrier to protect its exposed areas from water, oil, dust and so on. Obviously, players will want to avoid spilling liquids near the mouse. The top is mostly open with a grid-like pattern, which reduces its weight and showcases its circuitry and RGB lighting. Its slightly textured frame slopes in a manner emphasizing a palm styled grip. My 10 dolalr mouse probably had like 0.Design and FeaturesThe Aerox 3 Wireless mouse is sleek in design. I got a mouse with a higher IPS (g402) and it fixed the problem. MY mouse had a low IPS so it can't read many inches when I moved it too quickly. It has to do with IPS (inches per second). I figured out the problem a few months back.

Is it a software issue or maybe I bought a cheap ass mouse and mousepad? (I was trying to stay on budget) If it is a mouse/mousepad issue, then I would like some advice before I drop a lot of money and realize that it isn't. Mouse: Etekcity S200, Mousepad: Xtrac Pads Ripper I tried playing on a table without the mousepad (which I used to do in the past) and I still get the "freak out." Although, it does freak out more easily on the mousepad than the table. I tried my old wireless mouse that I used and I still have the same issue on that mouse so I don't think it's my new mouse's problem. I've been trying to google this issue for a while and I got nothing.

I've turned off mouse acceleration and turned on Raw input.ĭPI: 600, SENS: 1.5, Windows Mouse: 6/11. When I'm trying to turn and react quickly in game, my mouse freaks out and all of a sudden I'm looking up or down or it's stuck halfway through the turn. (I used to play with high DPI and sens so I never had this issue). So I got a new computer, mouse, mousepad and started playing low DPI and sensitivity.
